Redbud Revisited is a suite of 13 audio compositions based on field recordings and musical motives from my 2016 work, Redbud. The subject of both works is the redbud tree, Cercis canadensis. The original audio was based on my field recordings of that tree augmented with composed elements based on the pitches (r) E D B (u) D.

Redbud Revisited is a reworking of those field recordings, musical motives, and ideas from my original work. This project allowed me further time to work with the ambience of my favorite tree.
